MOIMOI inspiration is found around the world. By mixing colorful Spain and clean Scandinavia, MOIMOI transforms warm and sunny summers into bags and accessories.

MOIMOI products are full of energy for independent and creative women. Born in Barcelona, based in Helsinki since 2009. MOIMOI believes in original designs, carefully selected materials and traditional ways of production. Bags are manufactured in small companies around Europe, mainly in Finland and Spain, fabrics are handprinted and jewelry is handmade. All MOIMOI products are designed in a small studio in the heart of Helsinki.

In summer 2010 MOIMOI opened a Pop Up Store in Helsinki centre and spring 2011 MOIMOI became part of the shop collective OVVN in the Helsinki district of Punavuori.

Behind MOIMOI

I am Raquel, the hearth and soul of MOIMOI. With a lovely team around me we make the unforgettable MOIMOI style. I was born in Vigo, in a wonderful city east west of Spain where I graduated as a Master of Arts. During these studies, I spent one year as an exchange student in middle Finland studying clothing and textile design. There I developed and special interest in scandinavian functional design. After graduation I moved to Barcelona to work in the sales department in an International Fashion Showroom and to study postgraduate´s degree in Fashion Business Management in the University Pompeu de Fabra. Here MOIMOI was born as a final project.

Idea that the project is becoming a way of life was always in my mind. 2009 I came back to Finland as a design intern in IVANAhelsinki and already being here, I decided to stay and establish MOIMOI studio in Helsinki.

Since then MOIMOI grew to be a well recognized brand in Helsinki and around Europe.
